After an exhausting search for a transparent responsible breeder, we found Alvin King, Mountain Breeze Puppies. From our first contact through our adoption and pick-up Alvin was very responsive and professional. He answered every question, welcomed us to meet the puppies and the mom, had a pristine area set up for the puppies, sent us updated pictures after our first visit, and welcomed us to visit any time. When we picked up our Golden puppy Denver, Alvin gave us a folder with AKC information, Vet visit  & vaccination records, microchip information, a Puppy contract/guarantee, and puppy training information. He also gave us a gift bag with dog food, a toy, a leash, a small blanket, and a plate of homemade moon pies for our trip home.

Our vet was impressed with Denver's calm manner and obvious early socialization training from the breeder. One week after his arrival, he has slept every night in his kennel for 6-7 hours without whimpering and without any accidents. This being our 4th Golden puppy adoption, 3 previous with 2 different breeders, he is by far our most socialized to date which speaks volumes about the breeder and his kennel practices. We would recommend Mountain Breeze Puppies to anyone looking for a Golden Retriever or Cavalier puppy.

We adopted Emma on our vacation to Amish country last year. Alvin and his family were very welcoming and gave us plenty of time to find the right fit for us. They were easy to communicate with, took good care of the puppies and provided a wonderful environment for them. Emma is now a year old, full of life and sweetness. Excellent temperament, great with children and LOVES the water. Highly recommend!

Alvin was a pleasure to work with. Mountain Breeze provided me with the happiest, healthiest, and most beautiful Golden Retriever puppy ever. Scout (Kyle) from the 1/25/24 litter is the biggest ball of joy and has brought so much happiness to my life. I have a now 1 yo Golden Retriever that I got in May of 2023. He just turned a year and is energetic, healthy, and just a very handsome dog! I get compliments constantly on how beautiful he is. He is now just over 80lbs and is very well tempered. At 8 weeks old he was a light golden color but his coat turned to a darker reddish color as he got older. I highly reccommend Mountain Breeze Puppies if you are looking to add a furry friend to your family.

Alvin was everything I’d hope I’d find in a breeder - you can tell he truly cares and enjoys what he does. He made it clear he wasnt a puppy mill and that was confirmed when we got there. All of his dogs were well kept, socialized, and a true joy to be around and if you know dogs, you know the owner is the reason behind all of that! From the minute I reached out Alvin was prompt and extremely helpful. Our pup is beautiful, healthy, and well perfect! We got our dream girl and couldn’t be happier! Lancaster was a worry however we researched Alvin King the breeder. He was wonderful and answered every question we had, always responding quickly. When we picked up our healthy puppy she was out playing with other pups in a large fenced in area. A beautiful home with a sweet family. The puppy was used to being with small and large dogs, all extremely friendly. Our pup is the sweetest, most cuddly fluffy pup we have ever owned. She loves EVERYONE. Very smart already. Not destructive at all. Perfect in our eyes. Her first car ride to our home she did get car sick. However as soon as she came into our home it was like she always lived there. You can tell his puppies were loved and cared for. We are so thankful we didn’t let the word Lancaster scare us away. You just need to do your homework. Thank you Alvin for also keeping our pup for a longer time due to a family matter we had going on. I highly recommend Alvin if you are looking to get a puppy.
